"29 months ago I was hopeless and desperate. I was addicted to opiates and saw no way out. A friend told me about the then 'Center for Compassionate Recovery'  now 'Waterstone Counseling Centers', a place where I could get help getting free from opiates in a safe, non-judgmental and doctor monitored process. I called on a Saturday and was at the office for my intake by Monday. My encounters with the receptionist that answered the phone, the doctor I met for my initial visit, and the office staff, all gave me something I had not felt in a long time - hope.
